The objective of the present study is to examine the perception of HR executives towards the adoption of AI in HRM in IT sector Convenience sampling was used for data collection. To have the expert opinion to access the present status of the usage of AI in HR in IT companies, our sample was restricted to HR executives, managers working in various IT companies across India. Data has been collected from 126 respondents for this study. Independent samples T- tests and ANOVA techniques were used to analyse the data. The results indicate that the organisations which are currently using AI or have experience of using AI in their HRM practices, have a more positive perception towards adoption of AI in HRM. Also, those who believe that AI can bring the change in the HR practices have a more positive perception towards AI. The study has implications for the organisations who have implemented AI or are planning to implement AI technology to improve their HR practices.
