Abstract

Coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) is one of the most important spice crops worldwide, possessing varied medicinal impacts. The present study explores the effect of various nitrogen doses and spacing on coriander under field conditions. Among all the treatments, S1 N3 (20×15; N@75 kg/ha) was best for plant height, S3 N1 (40×15; N@0 kg/ha) for days to 50% flowering, S1 N1 (20×15; N@0 kg/ha) for minimum maturing, and S3 N3 (40×15; N@75 kg/ha) for number of umbellets per umbel, number of seeds per umbellets, number of seeds per umbel, seed yield per plant, primary branches. Based on this study, the aforementioned treatments can be exploited for sustainable coriander production.
