In this work, bit error rate and microwave signal level measurements were carried out in Akure-Owo Digital microwave link between January and December 2006 with a data acquisition software (PROCOMM PLUS 3.0 SOFTWARE), The data collected were analyzed using MATLAB 7.0 SOFTWARE PROGRAM.
The result showed that the bit error rates were good and available throughout the months of the year.
A model equation was developed to predict the bit error rate in the Akure-Owo digital microwave link. The result of the predicted model was validated with field data and the result obtained showed that the model equation can be used to accurately predict the microwave link parameters.
