Control System for Process Time at an Assembly line of an Automobile Industry

Abstract

In the automobile industry, the assembly line is very importend at the production line. The assembly line is used to produce many different vehicles without carrying a large inventory. For achieving high productivity, it is required tokeep a constant rate of usage of parts used by the assembly line. This study will develop a newdynamic sequencing method for level production of assembly line and built up an automated sequence-control system which had been operated manually. The method will combine the Mathematical Method (MM) and Gentic Algorithm system (GAs) to enhance the efficiency of the assembly line by control to the processing time among the workstation. The outcome of this method will be increase the productivity working time then incrase the ratio of products.
