Abstract

In this paper, a model of a boost converter (TIBC) is analysed for solar arrays (photovoltaic system) which is to be interfaced. The model of a boost (TIBC) converter proposed in this paper, which steps up voltage of the solar array and the power produced. The developed power is fed to switched voltage capacitor is used for any solar power applications. The advantages of the proposed converter: high power output, high efficiency, low losses. The MPPT (maximum power point tracking) is used to optimize the maximum power from solar arrays. In this paper, the converter topology is based on a resonant two inductor boost converter and a three-phase switched voltage capacitor achieving 90% efficiency at a rated power of 210W.
