Abstract

The paper presents a detailed study on controller parameter convergence in the design of Model Reference Adaptive Controller based on MIT Rule. It is shown that for a given simulation time, the convergence of controller parameters is accurate for a larger adaptation gain and the controller parameters approach accurate values as simulation time increases. The present study also presents the unstable convergence exhibited by the controller for large adaptation gains.
