An analysis of group velocity dispersion (GVD) is investigated by means of the finite element method for holy fibers for different air filling fractions and different number of ring holes. The calculated curves show the GVD plots have a variety of behavior versus wavelength, and it increases with increase of the air filling fractions, in all of them. The investigation of number of air hole rings shows that by adding the more hole rings to the fiber cladding the GVD has negative values in longer wavelengths. Also effective refractive indices of holy fibers used, reduces with increasing the wavelength.
