Emergency Vehicle Alert System Using GPS and ZigBee for Private Vehicles

Any part of a system designed to respond to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital or inhospital treatment often refers to ambulances and first responders, though emergency medical services (EMS) include all services necessary to help ill or injured people return to the state of health they enjoyed before their emergencies. Now a day, ambulances are available on one call to the unique number. The main focus in this paper is to design an easily accessible and user friendly detection system for emergency vehicle. This detection system will reduce the life loss due to late approach of emergency vehicle to the patients end or to the hospital. This system uses GPS and ZigBee protocol.
