Now a days, lot of research work is going on fractional order system (FOS) in various fields. This paper work done related with the design of fractional order PIλDμ controllers for time delayed system, in which the controller has introduced two additional parameters of integral and derivative parts are introduced such as, λ and μ, respectively. First order plus time delayed model is widely used in designing the system. FOPID controllers has a set of parameters proportional constant Kp, integral constant Ki, derivative constant Kd, derivative order μ and integral order λ. Controller synthesis is based on design specification of closed loop system. The purpose of this paper is to take advantage of additional features of these two parameters and fulfill additional specifications of design of controllers, ensuring a robust performance of the controlled system with respect to gain variations and noise. The method proposed in this paper to design PIλDμ controller fulfill five different design specifications.
