The present work represents the design of a novel microstrip feed circular rectangular corner fractal antenna for ultrawideband (UWB) applications. Different properties of designed antenna structure like gain, return loss and radiation properties are analyzed and simulated using 3D electromagnetic simulator CST MWS Version 14.1 The proposed antenna is printed on easily available FR-4 Epoxy glass substrate with thickness 1.6 mm and relative permittivity 4.4. In order to improve the UWB, partial ground plane is chosen. Simulated results of this antenna exhibit UWB characteristics from frequency 3.8 GHz to 11.7 GHz. Consequently, this antenna covers the IMT, WLAN, C-Band communication satellite and narrow band PCS service application and thus can be used for UWB communication system, microwave imaging and radar tracking system. The broadband a n d multiple frequency of this antenna are presented and discussed.
