Abstract

In this article, a set of CAD oriented closed form expressions based on conformal mapping, transmission line, cavity model and single resonant parallel L-C-R circuit is reported to predict the input impedance of a rectangular patch antenna in multidielectric layers. These models are very simple and employing less computational time. The accuracy of these models is verified against experimental results. This structure is also validated with the HFSS computation results
