Of late the use of Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) is extended from home based applications to military applications. But, WSNs are battery dependant, hence, battery must be used in order to enhance life time of the network. Variety of protocols are already proposed to handle energy consumption. In WSNs energy heterogeneity is still a big challenge for researchers. In this paper a revised three level energy clustering algorithm is proposed, in which, energy dissipation is adaptive among sensor nodes. Simulation results shows the extended network life time and durability period particularly in energy heterogeneity conditions.
