Abstract

Security while travelling is a major concern for everyone. Vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes for fatalities. According to survey of India, there are around 698 accidents occurring due to bike crashes per year. Nearly half of the people die due to not wearing helmet and lack of proper treatment in proper time. The proposed system prevents the person from the fatal injuries during an accident and also ensures that emergency facilities are available to the accident victims as early as possible. The system prevents the accident by using smart helmet. The vehicle starts only when the person wears it. When an accident occurs MEMS sensor and pulse sensor detects the accident and the GPS module shares the accident location with the help of GSM to ambulance services and relatives.
