Agricultural laborers constitute the most neglected and suppressed class in Indian rural structure as their living standards mainly depends on income, employment and consumption pattern. A multi-stage sampling technique was employed for primary data collection through schedules and simple tabular analysis was made. This study revealed that in Anand, major source of income and employment was agri. (wage + self) as compared to Dahod, in which major source was wage (agri.+ non-agri.). The average annual family expenditure was more as compared to their income in Dahod district, so they were in debt condition, while in Anand a very less amount of saving occurs.
