This study has attempted to investigate market intelligence knowledge of tomato farmers and its impact on economic return. The important findings of the study were: majority (56.25 percent) of tomato farmers had low market intelligence knowledge followed by medium (28.75 Percent) and high level (15 percent) of market intelligence knowledge, who earned 24.13 percent more price always with high economic return compared to tomato farmers who had low market intelligence. A positive and significant relationship was observed between market intelligence knowledge of tomato farmers and their personal, socio-economic and psychological characteristics such as education, land holding, social participation, mass media participation, and extension participation.
