The present study was undertaken in Nanded district of Maharashtrawith the objectives of finding out various healthcare and housing management practices followed by dairy farmers. A total of 120 dairy farmers were selected for the present study. The respondents were interviewed, individually, at their home and at farms about animal health care and housing management practices followed for dairy animals. Statistical measures used in this study includes mean, frequency, percentage and cumulative square root frequency (CSRT). It was found that majority (85.83%), (45%), (5.83%) of the respondents always vaccinated their Buffaloes, indigenous cattle and crossbred cattle against Foot and mouth disease, Hemorrhagic septicemia (HS), Black quarter (BQ) respectively. Majority (97.50%) of the farmers had close/conventional type of housing. (70%) of the respondents had average type of ventilation with average sanitary and poor drainage facilities for animals. Dairy farmersprotect their animals using straw(Kadabi), dried sugarcane leaves and gunny bags in winter season while tied their animals under tree shed and in closed houses during summer season.
