The term training refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies as a result of imparting vocational or practical skills. The present study was carried out over 100 cauliflower growers belonging to Saharsa district of Bihar. The level of knowledge and extent of adoption studied in response to training on cauliflower cultivation was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agwanpur (Saharsa). Total 100 trained (50) and untrained (50) farmers were selected for the study. This training was oriented on various scientific steps leading to higher production of cauliflower. The impact study was performed on trainees as compared to counterpart non-trainees. The data revealed that majority of trained farmers had higher level of knowledge with respect to cauliflower cultivation. It was also found that farmers were aware with the recent and scientific approaches of this cauliflower cultivation as revealed from the questionnaire framed accordingly such as; awareness of recent varieties, proper dose of balance fertilizer, irrigation management and weedicides to be applied. Significant adoption rate as per recommended practices was also observed among trainees as compared to nontrainees.
