Farmer's suicides are not an occurrence by itself; rather it is a severe expression of the fundamental agrarian crisis existing within the country for a long phase of time. In current scenario, this threat has twisted out to be an epidemic, which has rocked the whole country. This paper tries to study the perception of farmers about major causes leading to such rural devastation on the basis of literature available as well as interaction with the farmers.
