Agro forestry has become a very important aspect of the new strategy of agriculture in relation to additional income generation and ecological balance. Agri- Silviculture (Eucalyptus+ Pigeon pea) growers had fetched additional income through Eucalyptus plantation in farm land and improved their socio-economic status. The district Jabalpur comprises of seven blocks. Three blocks namely Panagar, Shahpura and Sihora were purposively selected and seven villages were identified on the basis of maximum number of respondents. Total 35 respondents have adopted Agri- silviculture model and same number were selected randomly from same villages. Thus 70 respondents were selected to constitute the sample of the study. The present study revealed that the higher percentage of respondent had middle age group, having education up to high school and falls in the category of Other Backward Classes. Higher percentage of respondents had medium size of land holding, medium income and having medium contact. Majority of farmers belonged to nuclear & medium size family and maximum percentage had medium social participation and medium mass media exposure. The agro-forestry farmers cultivated 3 to 4 crops in a year and higher percentage had medium knowledge. The impact of Clonal Eucalyptus based agro forestry model in terms of income generation has been studied. Among the farmers adopted agri- silviculture model, there was 69.00 per cent relative change in net income. The t-value for net income was found to be highly significant (24.71) at 0.01 per cent of probability level between agri- silviculture growers and sole Pigeon pea growers.
