Abstract

Survey Research requires careful planning, monitoring and scheduling of activities associated with research as it gives idea to plan for further developmental activities or introducing technological advancement. It also gives the first hand information about the suitability of development activities or technological advancement especially in case of agriculture and allied sectors as these are evaluated on the location specific basis. Therefore, application of Program Evaluation and Review Techniques & Critical Path Method becomes a necessity to keep a control over the allocated resources along with time management. The process of planning for survey research incorporates a countless number of activities to develop a realistic network diagram which helps in monitoring and scheduling of the progress of activities. It also provides benchmark status of development activities or technological advancement on location specific basis which in return helps in formulating the suitable technology from the end of technology generator.
