The study on technological needs of lady grafters in quality planting material production of horticultural crops in Bhubaneswar, Odisha was carried outin the year 2016 in twenty randomly selected nurseries in the periphery of Bhubaneswar city of Odisha, who commercially raise quality planting materials and sell throughout the year. From each nursery five lady grafters were selected randomly and interviewed through pre structured interview schedule and focused group discussion. The study reflects that the respondents were some extent aware about the quality planting material production technologies and they usually followed the traditional method of planting material production therefore requiring more technological support in the field of suitable time of grafting and budding, selecting rootstock, scion/bud, scion training time and technique, after care of grafted/budded seedlings. Previous experience and involvement in various horticultural activities increase their skill and quality of planting materials as well.
