A study on profile characteristics of post graduate students of junagadh agricultural university

Abstract

The present study was conducted in Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh of Gujarat state to study the profile of post graduate students towards agricultural entrepreneurship. Total 120 respondents were randomly selected for the study and interviewed. Most of the respondents were having 22–24 years age (81.67%), had first class of academic achievement (46.67%), medium participation in extracurricular activities (61.67%), fathers education of graduate and above graduate level (27.50%), medium family occupational status (68.33%), had family income above 3.00 lakhs (40.00%), medium level of overall modernity (65.00%), had medium reading habit (65.00%), medium agri-business anxiety (60.00%), medium level of self confidence (60.84%), medium level of knowledge about government projects and agri-business (67.50%), medium risk orientation (70.84%) and medium level of cosmopoliteness (62.50%).
