Abstract

Determination of genetic diversity is useful for wheat breeding to develop more efficient genotypes for different conditions as its paramount for genetic improvement of any crop. In the present study emphasis will be made on characterizing the relationship between grain yield per plant and different component traits using the structural equation modelling. In the proposed study 42 genotypes under four environments with different sowing dates and fertility levels of bread wheat in Haryana (Rabi season 2017–2018) were taken for analysis of relationships between grain yield and its component taints.
