In India, dairy farming is critical to dairy farmers’ livelihood security. The socio-personal, economic, communicational, and psychological aspects of dairy producers in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh were investigated in this study. The survey was conducted in the Jabalpur area, with 140 dairy farmers from the district being selected at random. According to the statistics, the most of dairy farmers (42.85%) were in their middle age (36 to 55 years). Dairy producers with only a high school diploma are more numerous (30.72%). For 68.57 per cent of dairy farmers, dairy and agriculture were their only sources of income. More than half of those surveyed (52.85%) had a medium-sized family, and dairy farmers had a medium annual income (47.14%). Dairy farmers with a medium- sized land holding (43.57%) and a medium-sized herd (47.85%) was the most common (7–9 animals). Half of the dairy producers (50.00%) had medium milk production on their farms. Over half of dairy farmers (55.00%) consumed medium amounts of milk. The majority of dairy farmers (46.43%) seek medium information behaviour, whereas a higher per centage (56.42%) sold medium milk. A higher per centage of dairy farmers reported medium extension activity (45.71%). A higher share of dairy farmers (49.28%) had medium mass media exposure. Dairy farmers were more likely than non-dairy farmers to have a lack of marketing orientation (43.58%). Dairy farmers were more likely than other dairy farmers to have a medium economic motivation (42.86%) and a lower risk orientation (45.72%). Dairy farmers with a medium level of scientific orientation were more common (40.72%).
