Abstract

The current study of rice growers’ impersonal-cosmopolite channels was conducted in five carefully selected Sub-Divisions of the Baramulla district, all of which are part of the Rice Village Program. A well-structured interview schedule used to collect the data. The majority of the rice growers from all the five sub-divisions were a medium level of impersonal-cosmopolite channels and the majority of the medium level of impersonal-cosmopolite channels of the rice growers were found in sub-division Pattan (74.29%), followed by Tangmarg (66.66%), Sopore (65.19%), Baramulla (60.28%) and least was found in sub-division Rohamma (60.00%). However, for the overall impersonal-cosmopolite channels of the rice growers from all the five sub-divisions, it was observed that (65.81%) of the rice growers were at a medium level of impersonal-cosmopolite channels.
