Southern Research Station, ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Bengaluru-560030, Karnataka, India

Abstract

The present investigation was intended to was conducted at seed testing Laboratory of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Science Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh during Rabi 20202021. The data were collected from field emergence percentage, plant height (cm), days to 50 per cent flowering, Number of leaves, leaf area (cm), length of root (cm), diameter of root, weight of Radish, biological yield, harvest index. These data were analyzed by using Randomized Block Design (RBD). The study revealed that radish seeds treated with Rhizobium (5%) T2 recorded good for field emergence (98.36%), plant height (30 DAS- 21.83, 60 DAS- 33.84, 90 DAS- 39.48 cm), days to 50 per cent flowering (31.19), harvest index (25.29%), number of leaves per plant (11.56), leaf are (578.53), root diameter (2.94), root weight (4.98g) biological yield (30.65%). root length (24.58cm). T2 (Rhizobium (5%) is best seed treatment technique than compared to other treatments.
