Youth are current victims of climate change as well as leaders of future and in order to make them capable to seek solutions we must show them the path today itself by sensitizing the issues of climate change and sustainable development. It is important to understand the impacts of climate change in planning realistic strategies to minimize its adverse effects. Study was aimed to identify and comparatively analyze the perceptional difference between students of rural and urban schools through structure interview schedule, a total of 400 senior secondary students were selected from five districts representing all agro-climatic zones of Punjab state in 2021-2022. Difference in perception regarding aspects of climate change varied significantly between rural and urban schools. Difference within each aspect was measured with help of Kruskal-Wallis Htest which revealed highly significant differences between both locations. Results suggest that activities by schools should be organized that contribute to enhance perception.
