Present study was conducted during the academic session 2020-21in the College of Agriculture, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Manipur, India taking 139 girl students randomly studying in B.Sc.(Ag.), M.Sc.(Ag.), and Ph. D. programmes. Socio-personal variables - age, academic performance, caste, mother’s education and fathers ’education were independent variables whereas, attitude was dependent variable. Results of the study indicate that majority (77.70%) of the respondents was under 22 years having OGPA between 7.00 to 8.00. Leaving 3.60 per cent of illiterate mothers, all students’ parents were literate. Most of them (74.10%) were from OBC, SC/ST categories. Majority (71.22%) of the girl students had favourable to strongly favourable attitude towards higher agricultural education. On further analysis, it was seen that the age of girls students had negative and non-significant relationship (r= -0.043NS) with their attitude, academic performance had positive and significant relationship (r= 0.333**), caste had positive and significant relationship (r= -0.230**), whereas parents’education had positive and non-significant relationship with attitude towards higher agricultural education.
