Abstract

Single crystals of Sodium penta borate Na(H4B5O10) has been grown by low temperature solution growth technique. The unit cell dimensions and morphology of the grown crystals are confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction. FT-IR spectrum reveals that the presence of functional group of the grown crystal. The thermal stability of the title compound is studied by differential thermal analysis, thermo gravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetric. The second harmonic generation efficiency of Na(H4B5O10) is confirmed by Nd:YAG pulsed laser employing the Kurtz powder technique.
