Abstract

Crime is an integral part of the society. Generally Police output concern with different crimes contains good outputs and bad outputs (or custodial crimes). Custodial crimes are committed by the police themselves by misfiring, lockup deaths etc. In this paper, the reduction of the bad outs and augmentation of the inputs are found by using the linear programming problem. Shephard's output distance function has been is used for free disposability of out puts.
