Abstract

Engineering graduates are expected to be employable and ready for the workplace when they complete their studies. It is generally expected that graduates should be equipped with a balance of technical knowledge in addition to the relevant soft skills required in the workplace. This balance is what gives one graduate competitive edge over another. Engineering students are often equipped with technical knowledge, but lack of soft skills leaves them not prepared for the contemporary requirements of workplace.
