MANETs are highly vulnerable to attacks from malicious nodes. The presence of the hacker node in the network alters the routing tables and prevents the network from functioning properly. The objective of the work is to provide the awareness of possible attack is provided by using Extended Dempster-Shafer Theory of Evidence and based on evidence value malicious node is identify and permanently isolated from the network.
To identify hacker node, Evidence value is calculated using the Evidence algorithm for the hacker node and check the evidence before attack, after attack, Permanent isolation for each node so as to isolate the hacker node. Therefore, as the hacker node is isolated from network, MANET is now made secure.
