Abstract

Today's most of the system authentication has been based on the concept of text based password and one time password (OTP) generation. Recent studies of authentication system have shown the most common attacks on such system. Some user often creates memorable passwords that are easy for attackers to guess, but strong system-assigned passwords are difficult for users to remember during authentication.

In our Image-based authentication systems have shown promise in circumventing this problem, because we have used matrix image for authentication.. So many researches have been made with different alternative approaches for secured system. We have gone through graphical password along with OTP & text based password, here we have increased security by involving third level as an image based authentication in existing system. Goal of usability for an authentication system is to support user in selecting better passwords. In our proposed system at 1st level is text based, 2nd level is OTP and rd3 level is image based. In each level if user has to found valid then he goes to next level of authentication. If fails goes directly initial level. It can be used in a local as well as a remote authentication. System showed very good Performance in terms. of speed, accuracy, and usability.
