Database performance tuning is the process that does reduction in response time and resources used by a SQL query. In order to retrieve fast response from any database we use various modern techniques. There are several database management systems that handle various types of databases. It is very hard to receive information quickly from the complex database even with these systems. In order to check performances of these systems and hardware, TPC, that is an independent organization, gives various types of benchmarks.
