Skills verses Degree: IT Skills Requirement for HR Professional in Changing Globalised ERA

This paper focuses the recent need for HR professionals in terms of IT skills as each and every employee is undergoing with the computerization phase. As the changing global era is rapidly growing with ICT skills, whether the curriculum as a part of professionals, supporting them to perform well in the organizations is the main crucks of the paper.

HR professionals with their basics and concepts from curriculum have to use the IT skills to perform their systems and structures in the organizations. Hence to estimate this gap between the ICT and basics, this paper is proposed. The professionals firstly have to bridge the gap between this current scenario and of skill requirement in industry for working in overall HR Department and decision making.

Hence, recent IT skills used for HR professionals are discussed in this paper. This paper is based on primary data collected from HR Departments of 10 companies. The HR professional have suggested the recent trends and lacunas faced by employees. 8 basic IT skills for HR professionals are highlighted
