Abstract

The co-design between Micro-strip patch Antenna and LNA is addressed over a wide band frequency of 10–20 GHz range. The main motive of co-design is to have impedance matching both for LNA as well as Antenna. In this work, the simulation analysis of co-design of LNA and rectangular shaped micro-strip patch antenna is proposed in Advance Design System with the use of the CMOS TSMC 90nm library. The co-designed LNA benefits from a size, cost and noise figure reduction. The best optimum result that this circuit predicts for the forward gain, S21 is-21 dB. The simulation result for noise figure is 1.7. The noise figure NF is 1.7 as input and 2.8 as output in scale at 10–20 GHz.
