Abstract

The classic wired and patch antennas are intrinsically narrow band devices. A fractal antenna can be designed to receive and transmit over a wide range of frequencies. Fractal antennas can be used for broadband range. One such antenna which gives multiband, multi resonant behavior is fractal tree antenna. Because of self similar structure of fractal tree antennas can be made in compact size. General antennas are used in the range of 2.1 GHz to 3.6 GHz for wireless application. The fractal tree antenna proposed here for wireless communication gives multiple bands in the range 0.2 GHz to 6 Ghz
