Abstract

Now-a-days employee training is becoming a necessity, it plays a positive role and holds more importance, as it deals with knowledge of employees. Organizations investing in effective training and development for human resources tend to achieve both short term and long term benefits. In this paper various facets of training like Trainers performance, Usefulness of training, Efficiency of training and Timelessness together form a construct to measure overall training. This training construct is directly to predict employee productivity. Data for the collection has been selected from four selected life insurance companies in Ujjain District of Madhya Pradesh. Findings reveal that training has positive impact on productivity.
