Abstract

MANET is Mobile Ad-hoc network consisting of mobile devices which are free to move independently and will therefore change its links to other devices frequently. MANET is infrastructure less there is no centralized control over a network. It can be self configured. As there is no centralized controller these devices are prone to attacks and network may collapse. Many Intrusion detection system were proposed in the last few years. On of them is EAACK. EAACK detects nodes misbehaviour, such as intermediate nodes dropping, anomalies in packet forwarding, delay caused. In this research paper Hybrid approach where AES encryption technique and Diffie Hellman Key Exchange is used in conjunction with EAACK and results are carried out.
