Abstract

Today's fastest growing trend in world of computer is of cloud computing and With the development of cloud computing need of cryptography to secure data on cloud is also increasing day by day, so the attribute-based encryption acquired extensive focus of the researchers in current years. The ABE scheme, which exhibits the public key encryption technique, get attributes as public key and cross check them with the cipher text or the user's secret key. In this paper, survey of different basic ABE scheme namely the key-policy ABE (KP-ABE) scheme and the cipher text-policy ABE (CP-ABE) scheme and Multi-Attribute attribute-based encryption (MA-ABE) and Hierarchical attribute-based encryption (HABE) and Non-monotonic ABE is done. Attention is also paid to the ABE schemes, including multi authority, user/attribute revocation, accountability, and proxy encryption, with an extensive comparison of their functionality and performance. The future of cloud, especially in increasing the range of applications, involves a much deeper degree of privacy, and authentication.
