Abstract

A System that makes toll collection process faster with the help of QR code, camera and application program. The camera captures the QR code from the vehicle and recognizes it. If QR Code is valid then the barrier will open and the amount of toll tax deducted from the registered bank account number with that vehicle and vehicle owner gets the acknowledgement message. This process takes approx. 20–30 sec. and if after validating, system finds that vehicle is stolen then barrier remains close and message will be sent to Regional Transport Office (RTO) and vehicle owner.
