Abstract

Today's combat missions rely heavily on unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), which are capable of penetrating into areas where man cannot enter. There exist some situations where toxic gas leakages occur in some industries, to face these types of situations UGV which can enter into those areas. Similarly at ground level human beings must operate tankers, heavy guns, and missile launchers. UGV are those which can be useful in ground level war and are tremendously flexible devices. It can also used for a variety of purposes like defusing landmines, patrolling at borders etc, through live control. It is aimed to fabricate an UGV which uses computer connected with RF transmitter at base station to send commands to UGV. The end of UGV, a micro controller connected with RF receiver to receive commands and to control movements of the vehicle. Stepper motors are used for driving the vehicle because they can rotate in precise angles, so that I can control the vehicle precisely at required directions.
