With the advancement of cloud computing the users have the options to utilize pay as you use model for their own and shared resources. However the datacenters in cloud computing environment consume more and unprecedented amount of electrical power and it requires huge amount of recurring expenditure for service providers. For example, during a massive shopping festival held in US and UK during December and January, huge amount of data centres are involved in this process and they consumes more electrical power than the normal period. Thus inturn incurred high cost. In this paper, we present an energy efficient paradigm for cloud computing infrastructure with minimalexpenditure. We present techniques to estimate energy consumption and expenditure cost incurred by service provider for allocation of services to applications and illustrate the usefulness of our new paradigm.
