We consider a non-linear road scenario where using in vehicles equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities i.e., communication interfaces are interested in file sharing or download from Access Points along road side. We investigate the possibility of exploiting the opportunistic encounters among mobile nodes to augment the data transfer rate. To that end we devise solutions to select the carrier and select the data chunks at the access points. And here we show it through simulation how carry and forward transfers among vehicle-vehicle communication can support the file sharing or downloading rate in urban environment.
