The atom-bond connectivity index is a significant topological index in measuring the stability of alkanes and the strain energy of cycloalkanes. In this paper, we describe sharp lower and upper bounds on ABC. In addition, we attain the sharp upper and lower bounds on ABC index of chemical bicyclic and unicyclic graphs. Consequently, it is also provide a description of the maximum and minimum ABC index.
