The purpose of this work is to investigate an induction motor model using its physical parameters so as to examine the characteristic performances: phase currents curves, motor speed curve, electromagnetic torque curve and the torque-speed curve of the induction motor using SIMULINK-a tool box extension of the MATLAB program. This performances are to be correlated to the Star-Delta starting Scheme so as to observe the associated response.
