Abstract

ISAR imaging is a high resolution two dimensional imaging of targets like ship, airplane etc. When imaging is done for a ship target then the sea state, wavelet height, wind speed play a major role. Conventional Range Doppler (RD) method is used for ISAR imaging of uniformly moving targets. But due to high sea state the wavelets height becomes more and hence leads to complex motions. In such cases, Range Instantaneous Doppler (RID) imaging is used where the echoes are considered as second order terms. If the target maneuvering is too high then Range instantaneous Chirp technique (RIC) is used. In this paper, ISAR imaging using RD, RID and RIC under the influence of Sea surface is done. The obtained results show RIC is better.
