Abstract

The word Internet is a contraction of the words international and network. In rapid advances in mobile technologies, it allows users to interact, create and share content on the internet regardless of their physical location. In developing countries the mobile phone may be the first wave of the information society. Unlike the developed world, which has experienced a rich, high bandwidth internet with a desktop, large parts of the developing world are experiencing the internet for the first time on a mobile phone. This paper aims at analysing the mobile internet browsing behaviour of college students in Erode.
