Abstract

Self compacting concrete is a boom to building industry. it is a concrete that has excellent behaviour in fresh state. SCC describes the concrete with the ability to compact itself by its own weight without the requirement of vibration. in congested location, it has found that application in reinforced concrete section containing congested reinforcement. in such situation SCC which lows under its weight and it does not requires any external vibration, it has revolutionized concrete placement.the test results compressive strength carried out in concrete ages of 7 and 28 days are determined and achieved the strength up to 40N/mm2.
