Setting up a benchmark for performance and measurement against them is a normal management practice these days. While there are organisational benchmarks, in the current discussions the focus being on ICT Industry, the performance benchmark and measurement is on human resources. The process of setting up benchmark and actual measurement is discussed. The stakeholders take aways, as a result of these studies, are important.
